Excursions | From Old Port of Fira: Volcano - Hot Springs

After our departure from the port, our first stop is at the active Volcano of Nea Kameni. Our stay there is for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. There, you can hike and see the inactive craters and the active one at the top with a stunning view to Santorini's Caldera.
Next, the boat continues to the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, and from there you can swim a distance of about 30 meters to get to the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni where the water temperature is 20-25°C. After dedicating about 30 minutes for this volcanic swim, the excursion concludes, and we head back to the port.
